Members Popular Post Li**** Posted May 2, 2020 Members Popular Post Posted May 2, 2020 Why do people rush to buy everything? Just because they are offered? ? We really need to focus exactly on BASICS - otherwise we work and spend. Get tired & sick. Life is about experiences. Not about objects. Money. Houses. Things..... It is exploring and understanding Reality. Am Inner Journey. Sharing Joy with the loved ones. Choosing what we really love. Happiness is health.
Moderator Popular Post Candy Posted May 2, 2020 Moderator Popular Post Posted May 2, 2020 I've asked myself the same question when the pandemic first started and people were panic-buying toilet paper ? I think the impulse came from an irrational fear that something like the zombie apocalypse would happen and we wouldn't be able to leave our houses for months on end. It's a known fact that most of the world's culture is based largely on consumerism. We buy things we don't need, eat when we're not hungry, and desire things we don't need to fill a hole, an emptiness. That constant feeling of hunger - for food, money or power. A false belief that leads us to blindly consume more and more and more... Yet what we really all crave is CONNECTION. With ourselves, with the earth, nature, and our partners, family and friends. Life indeed is about experiences and the expression of love in all forms. Thank you for sharing ✨

He taught us an excellent little exercise. When we fear something or worry, it's that little red light we focus on. While it is necessary to pay attention to its message and take appropriate action, it soon is time to open our gaze to the big picture. Dr Hanson called it "what is also true". For weeks we now didn't find flour in the supermarkets here. It's easy to focus on that and let the feeling of scarcity piggyback its way in. Then I stop and see what's also true, and I can not name all the things I have enough of in one day. And this perspective allows me to open up, and openness makes it easier to feel connected. Rick Hanson suggested to take a breath and dwell in the positive experience of enough air to breathe.

Members Li**** Posted May 16, 2020 Author Members Posted May 16, 2020 The mind is restless and always seeking for gratification. Consuming is based on that principle. But the result is addiction and the desire for more. Breathing is a healing technique. Placebo is working too. ? We are here to be free and happy. Not to be the slaves of our desires. True energy is inside. Love & harmony to everyone! ❤️?
