As it's the International Day of Happiness this month (March 20th), we wanted to celebrate what makes you happy – in pictures!  ??  It could be a snap of you with your bestie, a treasured place, your favourite meal, or a special image from the past that evokes joy.

This photo makes me happy because I LOVE to go to the Mountains .

I live only an hour away so I go a LOT .

This is in Rocky Mountain National Park where I usually go.

I find my Peace and revive my soul when I am able to see such majesty and beauty.

Mother Nature never disappoints.

Here are two of my most beloved things: my mum and the view of the beach ?️ in the place I grew up! 

This pic of me and mum was taken after I had dragged her through a forest  ?  ?  ?  to get to another remote beach on the island she lives on! This image represents my mum's sense of adventure and spirit as well as the closeness of our bond. You can't tell but it was a beautifully sunny day also and I had a swim in the sea, one of my fave things to do. ? ?‍♂️ She's a bit unwell at the moment, so looking at these image makes me sad but also so joyful of the times we have shared.

The second pic is the view from my home town, also in the same island. I've been to many countries and cities but still this is just about my favourite view and place. Why? The feeling of home (and it is also really beautiful and wild there too, lol).

Two things that make me happy are spending time with my family in Sweden, and my little doggy ?

These photos are taken out and about in a small village on the coast of Sweden where my parents have a house, and it is a place that always makes me feel so calm, peaceful and happy. It is also one of the few places where my dog seems to completely get rid of her anxiousness and nervousness, so I love spending time outdoors with her there. (These pictures also show two very different spring days weather wise ?)

Nature, nature and more nature! this reallyu makes me happy! I love walking and observing its beauty, there is new omething every day especially now with Spring on the way Mother Nature is awakening despite all the odds. It lifts my sprit up and make me appreciate what we have and take it for granted. Let's all protect and glroify nature, it's a free gift and we all need to take responsability. Be happy in Nature!

God / being my True Self makes me happy. Happiness is the very nature of the Self; happiness and the Self are not different. There is no happiness in any object of the world. We imagine through our ignorance that we derive happiness from objects. When the mind goes out, it experiences misery. In truth, when its desires are fulfilled, it returns to its own place and enjoys the happiness that is the Self. Similarly, in the states of sleep, samadhi and fainting, and when the object desired is obtained or the object disliked is removed, the mind becomes inward-turned, and enjoys pure Self-happiness. Thus the mind moves without rest alternately going out of the Self and returning to it. Under the tree the shade is pleasant; out in the open the heat is scorching. A person who has been going about in the sun feels cool when he reaches the shade. Someone who keeps on going from the shade into the sun and then back into the shade is a fool. A wise man stays permanently in the shade. Similarly, the mind of the one who knows the Truth does not leave Reality. The mind of the ignorant, on the contrary, revolves in the world, feeling miserable, and for a little time returns to Reality to experience happiness. In fact, what is called the world is only thought. When the world disappears, i.e. when there is no thought, the mind experiences happiness; and when the world appears, it goes through misery....All beings desire happiness always, happiness without a tinge of sorrow. At the same time everybody loves himself best. The cause for this love is only happiness. So, that happiness must lie in one self....To attain that natural happiness one must know oneself.

The one thing that I love the most, the one who is my best friend in need, the one that makes me happy, rejuvenated, relaxed as it brings out my talent and creativity is creating mandalas. Am a mandala artist and creating mandalas are my love forever.
