Hi, I am new here and would love to know the different aspects of life that prompts us to meditate for different reasons. My mediations came out of the need for a better understanding of life.

I believe I meditate to quiet my mind or to maybe quiet the emotions that I feel around me. I also use as I a time to gather my energy back.
