What is the HAPPY Token?

HAPPY Token are units of exchange that users of happiness.com may generate through verified actions within the happiness.com ecosystem. HAPPY Token may be used to redeem products, services and other benefits to the extent that such products, services and other benefits are offered. They can be used to reward, appreciate and show your gratitude towards other happiness.com users and their contributions.

I hope someone from the happiness.com team will jump in and give us a bit more details. ?

The idea is to reward actions that contribute to

the happiness.com vision " A kind, conscious, peaceful and loving humanity "

and our mission " To cultivate a safe and supportive community and share tools, practices and experiences that empower everyone to live happy and fulfilled lives "

Actions within the happiness.com community which support this will be rewarded with HAPPY Token. Participation in the forum, engaging content reaching out to others are just some examples. What exactly that is and how many HAPPY Tokens are awarded we won't say as 1. we are continually tweaking the settings in the background 2. it changes each day as the number depends on the total amount of rewardable actions and the number of users within the last 24h.

I am sure the rest of the happiness.com team has more to add.

Its not a decentralized currency yet. Users of happiness.com will be able to earn/mine happy tokens by spreading and cultivating happiness. In practice that means being active on the site, contributing content that other members appreciate and being active in the academy.

For now the happy token runs on a permissioned ledger and is not listed at any exchanges. This might change some day, until then it can already be used as a virtual currency within our ecosystem.

@drerodhahc I am not sure if I understand your question correctly.
What it brought up in me, though, is a quote from Tara Brach: "We only accept the love we think we deserve", and I think it's similar to happiness. One step towards happiness is giving ourselves permission to be happy.
